Why did I join SLG?
I was a transfer student so I didn't know anyone when I arrived to UHD. By my 2nd semester I wanted to join some type of organization or get involved some how on campus. While I was leaving campus one day I noticed the flyer for R.E.I.N.A.S (Interest group) and I decided to check out the organization. I met the ladies of the group and they told me they were trying to establish Sigma Lambda Gamma on campus. I had no idea about Greek life so as far as I was concerned I just thought I'd meet new people, have some fun and be active on campus. I decided to give it a try and before I knew it I became part of the interest group, then the colony, and then became an initiated sister. I look back and think "Wow, what a ride!!" SLG has changed my life for the better and I'm so glad that I decided to join. I will always look back at my college days and remember the great times I had with my sisters. I know they will always be there for me, as I will be there for them! Hermans por vida, sisters for life!!! |
