Why did I join SLG?
I wanted to join Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority due to its historically Latina-based and diverse culture of members throughout the country. My interest also grew in its dedication of helping the community for its betterment and improvement. I wanted to help fund and support a great cause such as Breast Cancer. Although, I always had the love of my parents I felt that I needed a sister who I could look up to. Therefore, growing up was an everyday challenge for the fact that I was the only child. I wanted to join an organization where we as sisters could help each other through obstacles and create a strong bond with them. |
