Why did I join SLG?
Prior to discovering Sigma Lambda Gamma, I never saw myself in a sorority. But as soon as I experienced my first encounter with such a large and diverse group of confident and empowered women, I fell in love with the principles and mission of the sorority. Since the Fall of 2005, I have made it my own personal mission to give as much back to Sigma Lambda Gamma as it has given to me, which, among various things, has been self-esteem, confidence, and experience in a number of important areas which I continue to use daily. I still strive to live up to the five principles which SLG upholds; they have become a part of my everyday ritual. This sisterhood has been a true blessing to me, and the memories which it has created for me are priceless and ever-growing. |
